M&A insurance specialist Brockwell Capital hires Head of Tax

London, 24 January 2019 – Brockwell Capital announced the hire of Richard Taylor as the new Head of
Tax. Richard, who is joining Brockwell Capital from CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang LLP, will have responsibility for leading and further developing Brockwell’s tax liability offering across all jurisdictions.

Prior to joining Brockwell, Richard spent a number of years as a tax associate at CMS where he regularly acted on international and cross-border transactions. His work included all aspects of corporate tax and direct/indirect taxes, with a particular focus on private equity, corporate structuring, funds and transactional risk insurance as well as general M&A, financing and real estate.

Andrew Graham, Managing Director, said: “We are delighted to welcome Richard to the Brockwell team. Richard’s arrival will enable us to respond to the increasing demand for tax liability policies that we are seeing from clients in multi-jurisdictions, and is the first step in our exciting growth plans for 2019.”
