We differentiate ourselves from our competitors by understanding the importance of a joined-up approach between the underwriting and claims teams.

All claims will be handled in accordance with the Lloyd’s Claims Scheme. Further details of the Scheme can be found here.

Beazley Syndicates will act as lead insurer and, for all ‘complex’ claims, Chaucer will act as second lead insurer. Both capital providers have dedicated and market leading claims teams, underpinned by award-winning claims philosophies. They specialise in dealing with complex and multi-jurisdictional disputes.

Under the terms of our authority with our risk capital providers, all claims are notified to Brockwell and to the lead insurer in order to expedite the claims handling process. Following receipt of the notification, the lead insurer will liaise with all other capital providers and manage the claim accordingly.

During the entire claim process a Brockwell underwriter will work extremely closely with the dedicated claims contact who will be actively involved throughout the life of a claim. We understand that the risks we cover relate to investments and impact of fund returns and we’ll move quickly to help put it right.
